HPP have secured planning permission for the redevelopment of the former BMW site to retail and leisure use. The site, which forms part of the Kingsditch Trading Estate, is currently occupied by BMW which is in the process of relocating to a larger site within Cheltenham.
HPP is delighted to have secured planning permission for 15 new dwellings at Long Marston. Stratford-on-Avon District Council supported an officers recommendation to approve the dwellings for Bloor Homes on a greenfield site in a category 3 settlement (a lower order settlement) on the edge of the built up area. The Parish Council did not object to the application and the ward councillor chose not to speak against the application at committee.
The approval includes 35% affordable dwellings.

Reserved matters approval has been secured for 160 dwellings at New Road Bampton in West Oxfordshire. Following HPPs presentation at committee, unanimous support for the application was given by members. The Parish Council had objected but primarily on the grounds that the applicant (CALA Homes) had sought to reduce the amount of affordable housing from 50% to 40% which HPP and CALA had previously agreed with the LPA due to changing circumstances in the delivery and tenure of affordable being proposed.

The Secretary of State has snubbed a proposal to build 200 new homes in the Lydney despite the scheme being able to deliver a very unique and locally designed content of much needed housing and community facilities. The development would have provided a neighbourhood of selfbuild houses, a new community centre, new public open space and desperately needed affordable homes.
