HPP has been shortlisted from a strong field of candidates for the second annual Planning Awards; Planning Awards 2015. The awards recognise excellence by all players in the planning system such as local authorities, consultants, developers and lawyers. HPP have been shortlisted for an award in the Stakeholder Engagement in Planning category. HPPs submission for this particular category included reference to the Community Partnership Board, which is a community liaison group initiated, formulated and coordinated by HPP. This Board was influential during the preparation and consideration of a proposed development at a former RAF base near Nottingham. The Board was considered to be an effective medium through which to communicate ideas and proposals and receive comments from the local community through the formulation of the design process. The CPB included local residents, Parish, District and County Councillors and other interested parties. The local community responded well to the CPB as it allowed them direct access and communication with the developer and the LPA.
The Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday,17th November at the Royal Society of Medicine, London, W1G 0AE.
