New Homes for first time buyers
9 January 2017 | Planning Policy Updates
Gavin Barwell, Housing Minister, announced that 2017 will see the first starter homes being built on brownfield sites across the country. The first wave of 30 local authority partnerships, established under the £1.2 billion Starter Homes Land Fund, have been selected on the basis of their potential for early delivery and will spearhead the scheme. Supported by the Homes and Community Agency, it is expected that construction will commence on these first places later on this year.
