A planning application for the redevelopment of a site on the Bath Road, Stroud, for a new retail foodstore, petrol station, vehicular access, parking and associated landscaping was submitted in October 2013. The submission of this application followed a public consultation exercise in the summer of 2013. It is anticipated that this application will be presented before the April 2015 Committee Meeting.
A public exhibition is being held on 29th July 2014 from 4.30pm to 8.30pm at Yorkley Primary school regarding a proposal at Yorkley. The draft proposal is for a small residential scheme of around 35 dwellings, which will be used to enable the delivery of additional parking, highway safety improvements and new open space for Yorkley Primary School which is currently physically constrained.
