A luxury glamping unit obtains permission in Cornwall

On behalf of Luxury Family Hotels, HPP are delighted to have obtained planning permission for the erection of a glamping unit in Cornwall within the grounds of Fowey Hall Hotel.

The application site was the subject of a number of constraints including Conservation Area, AONB and impact upon the setting of a Grade II listed building.

The hotel currently provides luxury accommodation aimed at the family market and the addition of a glamping tent will increase the variety of rooms on offer. The proposed tent has been carefully sited to be close to existing built form on the site and minimise any impact on the Grade II Listed Fowey Hall or its setting, the Conservation Area and the AONB.

Local Planning Authorities are widely recognising the benefits offered by glamping units as they play an important role in the diversification of the tourism industry.
