A new 64 bed care home for Bishops Cleeve
On behalf of Castleoak Developments Ltd, HPP have been successful in obtaining planning permission for a 64 bed care home at Cleevelands, Evesham Road, Bishops Cleeve. The site lies centrally within the residential development that is in the process of being built out and is positioned on land that was earmarked as part of the masterplan that accompanied the outline planning application for retirement housing.
The planning application for the care home was supported by an accompanying Care Needs Assessment Report which identified a growing need for such residential care in the local area and the Borough as a whole. The approved scheme will provide 24 hour nursing and personal care for the elderly and will allow elderly local residents to remain within the community as their personal care needs increase.
The approved scheme is designed to take full account of its setting, its visual impact and to ensure a high quality design solution. The care home will provide a high standard of living and communal accommodation with traditional style elevations using local materials. The approved use will complement the surrounding residential use and will generate job opportunities.
HPP are proud to have been responsible for the management of the planning application of this scheme which will contribute greatly towards the increasing need for elderly persons accommodation.
