Planning permission secured for 16 dwellings in sensitive location
HPP were successful in obtaining planning permission, subject to Legal Agreements, for the erection of 16 dwellings on land in Horsley village at Stroud Planning Committee. The site is particularly sensitive given the fact that it affects the setting of a listed building, forms an edge of village location and is located within the Cotswold AONB.
Negotiations, led by HPP, have been ongoing for many months, both prior to and since the application submission, between the developer, the Parish and the LPA, resulting in the evolution of the proposed scheme to reach this positive decision.
HPP were commended by the Parish for their efforts in maintaining open communication between the interested parties throughout the decision making process. Councilllors of the March Stroud Planning Committee voted by 10:1 that permission should be granted for the proposed scheme.
