The erection of 148 dwellings - Bourton-on- the-Water
HPP have secured outline planning permission for provision of up to 148 dwellings on land to the East of Bourton Industrial Park subject to the signing of a S106 Legal Agreement on behalf of Bloor Homes Western. This was an interesting case as the site is located outside the Development Boundary and is a departure from the Local Plan. HPP successfully argued however that the significant benefits offered by the proposal outweighed any potential impacts. These benefits included the provision of additional housing in a District which is unable to demonstrate a five year supply of deliverable housing land, the provision of affordable housing and other community benefits.
